🏥 Dubai launches ‘smart medical visa’ and takes another step towards global leadership in medical tourism

The UAE has long been a popular destination for treatment, but now the process will become much easier. Dubai authorities are working to launch Smart Medical Visa, a new system that will combine treatment, paperwork and patient support into a single digital ecosystem.

Today, the emirate is already one of the world’s leading medical hubs, and the UAE is considered one of the countries with the highest number of clinics accredited by the JCI (Joint Commission International) standard - the international “gold standard” for the quality of medical services.

The UAE is launching a new tool that will make the rental market more transparent and secure for both parties. Etihad Credit Bureau has implemented a tenant verification system through UAE PASS.

Landlords can now submit a request for access to a potential tenant’s credit history. The tenant will then receive a notification and decide whether to provide the information or decline the request.
