Quick honesty check: do you actually know what "freehold" gives you as a buyer in Dubai? Most first-time buyers don't.
In a designated freehold zone, it grants full title ownership, inheritance rights, and unrestricted resale rights. What it doesn't grant: ownership anywhere in Dubai, only within those designated zones.
Here's where it actually matters. Full title ownership means the property is registered in your name with Dubai Land Department, the same way it would be for a UAE national, not a long-term lease, not a usufruct arrangement, an actual freehold title.
Inheritance rights mean the property passes to your heirs according to the ownership structure you set up, not automatically frozen or reassigned, something a lot of buyers assume is complicated here and simply isn't, once it's properly documented.
Unrestricted resale rights mean you can sell to any buyer, at any time, without needing developer approval or facing nationality restrictions on who can buy from you.
