Dubai’s real estate market hit a historic Dh917 billion in transactions in 2025, announced Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The sector recorded 215,700 property sales, an 18.7% rise in volume and 30.9% growth in value compared to 2024, reflecting strong investor trust and market resilience.

Investments exceeded Dh680 billion across 258.6k deals, with resident investors making up 56.6% and women investing Dh154 billion. Luxury property and mortgage activity also surged.

The results align with the Dubai Real Estate Sector Strategy 2033, targeting Dh1 trillion, and support Dubai’s vision for economic diversification and sustainable growth.

Mercedes reported a 10% drop in global car sales last year, driven by tariffs, inventory pressures, and rising competition in China.

The automaker is expanding into real estate with a new project in Dubai called Mercedes-Benz Places Binghatti City.

The development will feature more than 13,000 residences across 12 towers, covering nearly 9 million square feet.

Mercedes said the project aims to deliver “integrated urban living” with brand-inspired design and luxury amenities.

The move reflects Mercedes’ push to diversify revenue beyond vehicles amid a slowing global auto market.
