🇵🇰 پاکستان کو زیادہ ضرورت کس چیز کی تھی؟ سستی بجلی یا گرین بسیں؟

ذرا ایک لمحے کے لیے سوچیں...

اگر سرکاری منصوبوں پر خرچ ہونے والی سینکڑوں ارب روپے کی رقم توانائی کے ایسے منصوبوں پر لگائی جاتی جن سے بجلی سستی ہوتی، تو کیا آج ملک کی صنعت، کاروبار اور روزگار کی صورتحال مختلف نہ ہوتی؟

سستی بجلی کا مطلب صرف کم بل نہیں ہوتا، بلکہ:
✅ فیکٹریاں چلتی ہیں۔
✅ نئی صنعتیں لگتی ہیں۔
✅ لاکھوں لوگوں کو روزگار ملتا ہے۔
✅ مہنگائی میں کمی آتی ہے۔
✅ کسان، تاجر اور عام شہری سب کو فائدہ پہنچتا ہے۔

جب لوگوں کی آمدنی بڑھے گی تو وہ بس کا کرایہ بھی آسانی سے ادا کر سکیں گے۔

گرین بسیں ایک اچھی عوامی سہولت ہیں، لیکن سوال یہ ہے کہ پاکستان کی اولین ترجیح کیا ہونی چاہیے تھی؟

سستی بجلی، مضبوط معیشت اور روزگار؟
یا
جدید ٹرانسپورٹ منصوبے؟

🚨 چوک اعظم میں ترقیاتی کام یا قومی خزانے کا ضیاع؟

انتہائی افسوس اور تشویش کی بات ہے کہ چوک اعظم میں ایک ہی موسلا دھار بارش نے ترقیاتی کاموں کی حقیقت سب کے سامنے لا دی۔

نالہ ایک ہی بارش کا پانی برداشت نہ کر سکا، جگہ جگہ پانی جمع ہو گیا، اور یوں محسوس ہوتا ہے کہ منصوبہ مکمل ہونے سے پہلے ہی اپنی ناکامی کا اعلان کر چکا ہے۔

اس سے بھی زیادہ حیران کن منظر تحصیل ہسپتال اور تھانہ چوک اعظم کے سامنے دیکھنے کو ملا، جہاں شدید بارش کے دوران اسفالٹ بچھائی جا رہی تھی، جبکہ سڑک اور شولڈر مکمل طور پر پانی میں ڈوبے ہوئے تھے۔

کیا گیلی اور پانی سے بھری سڑک پر اسفالٹ بچھانے سے معیاری سڑک تیار ہوسکتی ہے؟
کیا عوام کے ٹیکس کے پیسے کا یہی استعمال ہونا چاہیے؟
اگر چند دن بعد سڑک ٹوٹ جائے تو اس کا ذمہ دار کون ہوگا؟

اہلِ علاقہ وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب، کمشنر، ڈپٹی کمشنر، اینٹی کرپشن اور متعلقہ محکموں سے مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ اس معاملے کی فوری تحقیقات کرائی جائیں، ذمہ داران کا تعین کیا جائے اور ناقص تعمیراتی کام کا سخت نوٹس لیا جائے تاکہ عوام کے ٹیکس کے پیسے کا تحفظ یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔

A Daughter of Eve, a Predator’s Lust, and the Failure of Society

Some tragedies do not only shatter a family—they shake the conscience of an entire nation.

The heartbreaking incident involving 8-year-old Muntaha in Sargodha has left countless people shocked, angry, and devastated. A child whose only concern should have been playing, learning, and dreaming of a bright future was allegedly subjected to an unimaginable act of cruelty.

This is not just a crime against one innocent child; it is a wake-up call for society, law enforcement, policymakers, and every citizen. Our children deserve to feel safe in their homes, neighborhoods, schools, and communities. When a child cannot safely walk to a nearby shop, we must ask ourselves what kind of society we are becoming.

The Government of Pakistan, law enforcement agencies, and the justice system must treat crimes against children with the highest priority. Swift investigations, immediate arrests, stronger child-protection measures, stricter monitoring of offenders, and fast-track justice are essential to prevent such horrific incidents from happening again.

We also urge parents, community leaders, schools, and local authorities to work together to create safer environments for children. Protecting our daughters and sons is not only the responsibility of a family—it is the responsibility of an entire nation.

May Allah grant little Muntaha the highest place in Jannah and give strength and patience to her grieving family.

No child should ever suffer such a fate.

An illiterate old father, while taking a puff from his ho**ah, asked his son—who had a Master’s degree in Economics:
“Son! Why is inflation increasing day by day when our country is an agricultural country?”
The son replied: “Father, our expenses are higher and our income is low.”
The father asked: “How is that??”
When the son started explaining in economic terms—talking about GDP, imports, and exports—the father interrupted:
“Son! Explain it to me like two plus two equals four… I don’t understand this foreign language.”
The son said: “Father, we need 36 billion rupees daily, but we don’t earn that much.”
The father, surprised, said: “So much money?? Where does all this spending go?”
The son explained: “Father, salaries, pensions, and corruption together cost us about 12 billion rupees daily, while 24 billion rupees we have to pay every day as interest to the IMF and other foreign banks.”
The father took a calm puff of his ho**ah and said:
“In simple words, that 24 billion is going to fund the dance of a courtesan we’ve never even seen.” 😄
