I am setting this site up to expose the Government’s error in moving the site from next to the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH West) to the SAPOL site, based on their very poor Review Committee’s Report commissioned to reverse the planning of previous Governments, both Liberal and Labor.
This process may take a while, until I learn the techniques required for running a site and I shall appreciate your patience.
The Report was so obviously compiled in a rush once they gained office and is unduly complex in its formatting, which initially makes scrutiny difficult. I shall use sections of their own report, show the errors, in easy to understand terminology, what in all probability will lead to destruction of the Heritage site, intruding further beyond reaching into pristine Parklands, at a cost that would indicate a likely doubling of the previous original cost estimate. Also, as with the example of the RAH, it will likely be vying for the title of the most expensive hospital of its type in the world. Already the Government has announced an estimated cost of over three thousand million dollars, and I shall demonstrate that there is so much more to come. They are already working at a pace faster than the program outlined in the Review Document; some may be tempted to say too much has already been done to stop, but at least I can say that I have done my best to hold them to account. Watch this space. At the end, I am confident I can prove to most that their own Report should have concluded that the new hospital site should stay alongside and adjacent to the RAH.
