So how did Sir Richard Branson get a 97% discount on the purchase of his Caribbean island? Well, he simply made the highest offer he could afford at that time. It was a long long time before creating the wealth he has today. You can imagine the vendor wasn’t very happy but after 12 months and a few special conditions, both parties were happy to settle.
Upon meeting Sir Richard recently in Sydney, he shared some business and investment tips. It certainly was a privilege to speak to one of the world’s great entrepreneurs and property investors.
