Despite the 18 months of a nightly walk through in my head, after we moved in there were three things that I kicked myself about. ALL three were things I second guessed myself on.
1 - I didn't heat the floor in the laundry. I remember saying to the tiler "oh it won't matter, I won't be in here that much" WRONG.
2 - That I just made the laundry a boring grey. I changed that with panelling and moss green walls, which is the same as my dressing room. Problem solved.
3 - the second guest bedroom was originally designated as an office but we decided to change it. Problem NOW being solved.
The bed, bedsides and lamps are being sold off and I'll be adding a sofa bed for sitting, napping, working and the rare time we need that second guest space.
Watch this space as the beige box is going. Not too crazy since it's the room you look at when standing at the front door waiting to enter, but it's def getting an upgrade. I'll be referring back to my initial colour board for the house, as I would recommend we do if we were doing this to your house.
