Our final week of Due Diligence was another roller coaster! š¢
Another week filled with meetings, conversations and making sure every T was crossed and every I was dotted.
This week was a huge reminder of exactly why the Due Diligence period is so important.
Things were looking really promising for this project, but after receiving the final report from our Civil Engineer, weāve unfortunately had to make the tough decision to walk away from this site.
Of course, thereās disappointment. You put so much time, energy, money and excitement into a project, and walking away is never the outcome you hope for.
But this is also part of the journey. Itās about asking the right questions, trusting your team, and having the discipline to walk away when the numbers and reports donāt stack up.
Weāre incredibly grateful to have such a knowledgeable team and mentors around us. Their expertise and guidance have been invaluable throughout this process.
So, itās onwards and upwards! š
Weāre walking away with more knowledge, more experience and an even stronger hunger to find the next site.
What a ride itās been already! Weāre learning, growing and absolutely pumped to be in this space.
