The heart rate monitor from Stable_Form in situ. The flat sensors are underneath the girth against the horses and the transmitter is on the outside of the girth so as not to annoy the horses. This one was made to suit my short girth, but would equally suit a long girth.

Craig from Stable_Form dropped off a new prototype of their heart rate monitor yesterday and this morning I gave it a whirl. Walk, trot and gentle canter around the paddock this morning, up and down the hill

Ken and Craig from Stable_Form visited today to test the latest version of their heart rate monitor and motion sensing boots. StableForm is an app on your phone that measures your speed and distance and with the added bonus of being able to also add a heart rate monitor and boots that measure stride length and how each foreleg is hitting the ground. It's time to play :-)
