Okay. Deep breath. Here we go.
Some of you know I moved to Tannum Sands to slow things down and get my head right. What I haven’t really talked about is why.
This year, Steve ended up in hospital, on my birthday, actually. In the weeks after, I was having multiple panic attacks a day. My best friend Jordy took me for a Japanese head spa as a birthday gift, and we went together. I went in a mess and came out feeling like someone had reset my whole nervous system. Turns out that’s not just a feeling. Scalp massage stimulates pressure points linked to the vagus nerve, which is what shifts your body out of fight-or-flight and into actual rest. My cortisol had nowhere to hide.
That one appointment changed the trajectory of my life, no exaggeration.
Since then I’ve gone deep into learning about lymphatic health too, and the more I learn, the more obvious it becomes that your internal health and your mental health are not separate conversations. Your lymphatic system is what clears waste and inflammation from your body, and chronic inflammation is directly linked to anxiety and low mood via the gut-brain axis. Even your brain has its own version of this cleanup system, working hardest while you’re deeply at rest. Your body isn’t being dramatic when it feels foggy or heavy. It’s often just backed up.
So here’s where I’ve landed: health is wealth. I’m taking the leap. SCALPT is happening. Japanese head spa, face sculpting, lymphatic drainage, the whole thing. It fits the simpler life I’m trying to build, and it means I get to help people feel calmer and more like themselves again. That’s the real goal.
Also, and this is important, I am still a boujie bitch who likes to look good, so don’t worry, the aesthetic results are very real too. Health first, beauty follows. You can have both.
Tannum Sands, get ready. She got Scalpt. 👁️
