Christmas, but make it bush. 🎄

This year, take the team somewhere a little different for the end-of-year celebration.

At Cottermouth, you can choose a Bush Christmas with a traditional sit-down Christmas lunch, dessert, lawn games and fireside s’mores, or make it a Christmas Social with outdoor laser tag, shared grazing platters and time around the fire.

All surrounded by the bush, just a short drive from Canberra, with plenty of room to switch off and actually spend some time together.

Laser tag isn’t just for the kids 👀

After a full day of calisthenics training, the team finished things off with a night game at Cottermouth - and judging by the competition levels, the older teens and adults were very much into it.

It was a very cold Canberra night, but a few minutes of running around soon fixed that!

Whether it’s a school group, team day, birthday or just an excuse to get everyone doing something a little different, laser tag is one of those activities that seems to bring out everyone’s competitive side.

Thanks Joyelle Seniors for spending the evening with us 💚

A different kind of training day at Cottermouth! 🪚🌿

Some of our team recently got hands-on with chainsaw training right here on site, building practical skills while making the most of the space we have around us.

A big thank you to Climb High Tree Services for taking our crew through the course and helping us continue to build our skills. 🙌

Cottermouth’s combination of outdoor space, facilities and flexibility also makes it well suited to practical training days, workshops and courses that need room to learn, practise and work hands-on.

Looking for somewhere different for your next training day? Get in touch with our team. 🌿

When the locals pop in to say hello 🖤🤍🌿

One of our regular Cottermouth visitors enjoying the view among the gums. There’s something pretty special about being this close to nature - you never quite know who’ll stop by!

Camp in a Box is an easy way to add a ready-made outdoor setup to your Cottermouth booking. ⛺

It works perfectly for birthday parties, family celebrations, school camps, Scout and youth groups, community events and corporate retreats.

Our team sets up the tents, gazebos, tables and chairs before your group arrives, so there is less equipment to organise, transport and assemble, and more time to enjoy the experience.

Camp in a Box is available as an add-on to eligible group, event and retreat bookings.

You bring the group. We’ll make it an adventure.

Contact our team to discuss whether Camp in a Box could work for your next Cottermouth booking.

Hosting the Adelaide Gang Show family for their first interstate theatre trip was such a pleasure.

Thank you, Alana and the Adelaide Gang Show family, for your generous feedback. We loved having you at Cottermouth and look forward to welcoming you back again.

The best memories are made around the campfire, not in the supermarket!

Our Camp in a Box Catering option lets kids enjoy the fun of outdoor cooking while we take care of the planning. Think build-your-own burgers, marshmallows by the fire, and DIY pancakes for breakfast.

You still get the camping experience. You just skip the shopping, packing and meal prep.

Spend less time organising and more time celebrating. Ask us about adding catering to your Camp in a Box birthday booking!

Planning a team day involves enough moving parts - the catering doesn’t need to be one of them.

Our Day Delegate Package includes all-day tea and coffee, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, helping keep your team fuelled from the first session through to the end of the day.

Pair it with one of our meeting spaces and give your team the chance to step away from the office, enjoy a change of scenery and focus on the day ahead.
