If you're planning to buy property in Melbourne, this one is for you.

'Stop Wasting Time: Why Every Melbourne Buyer Needs a Clear Property Search Plan'

Buying property in Melbourne is one of the biggest financial decisions you will ever make — and yet so many buyers begin their search without any real structure or strategy.

In this comprehensive guide, we walk you through the four key steps to building a property search plan that works:
1️⃣ Define exactly what you want in a property
2️⃣ Set a realistic budget that accounts for every cost
3️⃣ Research the Melbourne property market with confidence
4️⃣ Know when and how to compromise — and make that decision early

We also cover the most common mistakes buyers make without a clear plan, and explain how working with a buyers advocate can significantly shorten your search.

Something I’m asked about often is how we find our clients.

The honest answer is — most find us through someone they already trust.

A past client.
A friend.
A family member.
A colleague.

Over 90% of the people we work with come through a personal introduction.

We don’t take that lightly.

Because behind every referral is a relationship, and a level of trust that means a great deal to us.

Swipe through — I’ve shared a little more about what that number represents, and how it shapes the way we work with every client who comes to us.

Just Purchased | Brown Hill, Ballarat

Secured for our client, an Aussie expat based in the USA, as a long-term hold.

A beautifully renovated home with the added bonus of subdivision potential, this purchase ticks every box for a long-term investment strategy — strong cashflow, capital growth and the opportunity to add further value down the track.

Buying from the other side of the world doesn’t have to be daunting. It just requires the right team.

After more than 50 years living in Bayside, our lovely client is beginning her next chapter.

Leaving a long-held family home is never simply a property decision. It’s a life transition filled with memories, emotion and important decisions along the way.

Finding the right downsizer home meant balancing familiarity, lifestyle, comfort and location — ensuring she could remain connected to the Bayside community she has loved for decades.

We’re incredibly grateful to have been trusted to guide this journey and are so excited to see her settle into her beautiful new home.

A privilege to be part of such a meaningful move.

My career in property spans more than two decades — and for some of that time, I worked on the other side of the industry.

Development. Project management. And for a number of years, as a selling agent.

I understood how the process worked — from the inside.

And the longer I was there, the more I found myself thinking about the people on the other side of every transaction.

The buyers.

Who was genuinely looking out for them?

That question stayed with me for a long time.

Eventually, it became Inview.

Over the coming weeks I'll be sharing what those years taught me — and what I think every buyer in Melbourne deserves to know before they make one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
