If you are in the area today, make sure you head on down to the Glass House Mountains Community Hall to celebrate the first birthday of the Glasshouse Mountains Community Garden.

Glasshouse Mountains Community Gardens is celebrating their first birthday TODAY 🌳 And everyone is invited!

Starting from 10am to 2pm behind the Glass House Mountains Community Gardens Community Hall on 8 Coonowrin Road.

Join Jenny Broderick for the official welcome followed birthday cake at 10.15am. Throughout the morning enjoy live music, and lots of organised activities including garden talks and tree planting; the perfect morning out for the whole community.

The team of amazing volunteers have been working hard to present your gardens in the best way possible. The gardens are a flourishing hub of fresh produce, including herbs, fruits, native bays, compost bays complete with a children’s maze.

Don’t forget to bring cash for plant/craft sales and raffle tickets. The team also welcome your donations of $0.10 recyclables for their Containers for Cash fundraising scheme. If you want to collect cans at home, ask one of their volunteers for a bag to take with you.

There are 3 raffles with super prizes up for grabs:
