For those who don't remember, this is just one reason Keating had to bring back negative gearing when he thought it was clever to get rid of it all together.

There is and probably cant be any new rental stock on the Gold Coast, and what could be is of no interest now, this new attempt at limiting negative gearing is sending rental prices higher and rental stock lower as investors sell out to end users.
