A huge milestone at Horizon Living — home construction is getting underway. 🏡

After around eight months of major earthworks and civil construction, our first road is now poured and AUSMAR has mobilised its construction team to site.

The first building pads are being finalised, home set-outs begin next week and from here we’ll start seeing Horizon Living change very quickly as construction moves from civil works into homes.

It’s an incredibly exciting point in the project for our family, our buyers and the entire Horizon team — and we can’t wait to see the first homes start coming out of the ground.

Stage 4 has also been incredibly well received, with 12 of 14 homesites already secured through Priority Access and just two now available to the wider public.

Latest drone shot of Horizon Living - Gympie

It's exciting to see Horizon Living really starting to take shape from above.

Over the past few months, the team has completed the bulk of the earthworks and installed the major underground infrastructure. Retaining walls are well advanced, and the first two roads have now been brought to their finished levels, with the first concrete road pours scheduled to commence next week.

This represents one of the project's biggest milestones to date.

Once first roads are complete, we'll move into council inspections, final civil works and the handover of the first homesites to our builder. This is a crucial stage of the project, as it paves the way for home construction to officially commence.

Looking at this latest drone image, it's easy to appreciate why we fell in love with this site. Its elevated position provides beautiful north and easterly aspects, right in the heart of Gympie.

Horizon Living will become a peaceful sanctuary tucked away from the surrounding streets. The thoughtful design and elevated setting will create a community that feels private, secluded and surrounded by nature, while still being only moments from shops, medical services and everyday conveniences. It's exciting to see the community continue to take shape, with earthworks, retaining walls, underground services and road construction progressing well across the site.

Every month, the vision becomes a little easier to picture. AUSMAR are busy finalising compaction testing and building certification before commencing construction on our first homes shortly.

I’m standing right where what will soon become the future home of the Horizon Living Clubhouse and Wellness Centre — elevated beautifully above the gully and positioned to take advantage of the surrounding natural landscape.
One of the things we’ve always loved most about this site is the established green space and the large surrounding trees that wrap around the community.
