This stump is sitting inside the 300mm “non-climbable zone” on the pool fence — and that’s enough to fail a pool safety inspection.

Anything climbable in that zone (a stump, pot plant, aircon unit, garden ornament) gives a small child a foothold to get over the fence. One overlooked object is often the difference between a pass and a Form 26 Non-Conformity Notice.
