On 23 May 1883, Tom Raine and Joseph Horne set up shop at Wentworth Court on Elizabeth Street, Sydney, managing properties, collecting rents and helping Australians buy and sell. Tom was 24. Joseph was 40. Neither could have imagined what they were starting.

Today, as one of the oldest family-run businesses in the Southern Hemisphere, Raine & Horne spans more than 380 offices across five countries and a network of over 3,800 people.
