🏡 Market Update - November 2025

The warm start to the Spring selling period was quickly forgotten as results and buyer turnouts to open homes through November significantly exceeded previous months.

With the Hobart market continuing on its positive growth trajectory, and the relentless influx of mainland investors and buyers advocates on a daily basis, that I'm sure all agencies are experiencing at the moment, this growth is bound to not only continue but accelerate well through the coming year.

With more than $15m in property exchanging hands in November, the team at South saw some exceptional results, fierce competition and short days on market with a sellers market still well in hand.

For frustrated first home buyers struggling to enter the market, sit tight, there are plenty of new, large scale developments on the horizon and launching in the new year, not to mention the increase of the first home buyer grant to $30,000 scheduled for 2026!

The last RBA meeting of the year is scheduled next Tuesday and once again predicted to throw a wet blanket over home owners heading into Christmas.
