Here's a little video i took a few days ago.
Sound on if you want to hear 2 Major Mitchell's cockatoos calling to each other.

We have seen these 2 hanging around the paddock a few times these last couple of weeks. (assuming it is the same 2)

This is the closest i've seen them to the house though, the tree they are in is our profile picture

Bedroom finally got some attention.

Cracks filled, fresh paint (Taubmans Admiralty), aircon in, furniture moved in.

Mostly thanks to Lizzie doing the hard yards while I drank beer and watched.

One less thing on the list.

Righto, we’ve been a bit slack on the posting front.
Things got hectic leading into xmas, and safe to say we haven’t quite nailed the habit of keeping this page updated yet.
So here’s a bit of a rundown of what’s been happening behind the scenes:

• Built the budgies an outdoor aviary so they can stretch their wings
• Had a crack at the overgrown paddock with domestic tools
• Picked up some older turtles and a few baby chickens
• Got a couple of aircons installed before summer hit
• Painted and moved into our bedroom
• Drove to Adelaide for a concert
• Hosted a big family xmas here at the place
• And planting… so much planting

We’ll break anything noteworthy down properly in upcoming posts with photos and a bit more detail.
