One of the things I love most about growing a small business is the people you meet along the way. 🧡

I had the pleasure of meeting Nadean at Fresh Networking and what started as two small business owners trying to grow has turned into a really lovely friendship.

She asks us for advice. I ask her for hers. And she genuinely understands the importance of what we do. That means a lot.

Nadean runs NEXT MOVE CONVEYANCING and works with a lot of first home buyers. If you’re buying your first home and you need a conveyancer, reach out to her.

This is what I love about what we do. Building real relationships with real people who are just as passionate about looking after their clients as we are. 🧡

A beautiful renovation can hide a lot.

In this case, new weatherboards stacked straight on top of rotten ones. And a house that needs to be fully restumped.

When someone has renovated a property, it’s easy to look at how good it looks and get swept up in it. But what’s underneath matters just as much as what you can see.

This is the due diligence we do on every inspection. We’re not just looking at the cosmetics. We’re looking at what actually holds the house together.

This is exactly why you get a building and pest inspection done before you put in an offer.

When you walk through a property, you’re not going into the roof space and you’re not getting under the subfloor. This is exactly why you book a building and pest inspection. And ideally, before you even put in an offer.

Not every inspector gets into the roof space or under the house. Ask those questions before you book. And look for someone who has actually built homes.

Last night we attended the Mordialloc Superules presentation night as a proud sponsor. ❤️🤍

It was an honour to be there. We love being part of this community and we are so proud to support this club.

And in news that has absolutely nothing to do with our sponsorship, Dean (aka Funky) took home the Best Men’s First Year Player Award. 😂🏆

Dean has always wanted to get back into footy. Though, after many injuries over the years I pretty much banned him from ever playing again. His body is a temple. It also pays our business. 😂

But somehow he talked me into it this year…. And after putting a significant amount of pressure on his coach Jemmo to make sure he was looked after, I am very happy to report he made it through the season. Mostly. 😂

This club and this community are something really special. Family first, through and through. The way they have welcomed us, looked after us, even putting on chips and nuggets for the kids after the game so we could hang around a little longer. That says everything.

I already feel like part of this community and I couldn’t speak more highly of this club.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of such a special night, surrounded by amazing people and incredible local businesses that we can’t wait to support moving forward too.

This is exactly why we get into the subfloor on every inspection. What we found was actually a fairly straightforward fix, and we were able to walk our clients through exactly what needed to be done and what it would cost them.

Knowledge is everything when you’re buying a property. A building inspection doesn’t just tell you what’s wrong. It tells you what it means and what to do about it.

2/ How an inspection protects your client's budget, so they know what they are taking on before they sign.
