Today is a very special day at Vasarelli’s as we celebrate the 50th birthday of the heart, soul, backbone and undisputed matriarch of the Vasarelli family, our beautiful Maria.
For those who know Maria, you’ll know that trying to sum her up in a few words is almost impossible.
She is one of the kindest, most loving and giving people you could ever meet. She’s the person who is always thinking about everyone else before herself, always making sure people are fed, looked after and okay. Whether you’re family, a friend, part of the team or simply someone who has walked through the doors over the years, chances are Maria has made you feel like you belong. That’s just who she is.
Behind the scenes, she has been such an enormous part of everything Vasarelli’s has become. Through the busy nights, the long days, the madness, the laughter, the celebrations and everything else that comes with this crazy hospitality life, Maria has always been there.
And behind that strong personality is an incredibly warm heart. Maria genuinely cares about people. She gives without expecting anything in return, loves her family fiercely and has spent so much of her life making sure the people around her are happy, and that is why today means so much to all of us. Fifty years of love, laughter, family, memories and looking after everybody else. So today, it’s our turn to make a fuss about her
Maria, we hope you realise just how loved and appreciated you are and how many people’s lives are better simply because you’re part of them. Vasarelli’s would never be the same without you, and neither would any of us.
So if you’re around the area today, simply pop in, say hello and wish Maria a very Happy 50th Birthday. Even if it’s just for a quick hug, a laugh or to remind her that she’s officially reached ‘The Big Five O’ we’d love to see plenty of familiar faces to help us celebrate someone who has given so much to so many.
