The craft of auctioneering lies in balancing presence, energy and precision to create a defining moment for both buyer and seller.

Last Wednesday, four of our rising talents stepped into the spotlight for the annual Nelson Alexander Novice Auctioneering Competition following 12 intensive weeks of immersive training, mentorship and practice.

A huge congratulations to this year’s participants: Luke Senserrick (Keilor East office), Rob Cattanach (Northcote office), Sage Harris-McGovern (Kew office) and Sam Tilley (Kew office).

Run by the Nelson Alexander Academy, this annual initiative empowers team members across all departments with the tools, guidance and real-world practice needed to hone their craft and grow into industry-leading auctioneers.

To Luke, Rob, Sage and Sam: thank you for setting such an inspiring standard of professionalism, poise and dedication. We are incredibly proud of your commitment and can’t wait to see you shine on the street stage very soon!
