Get a bit of height and the view of minnamurra lagoon is stunning. This was taken 4 hours after high tide, so lots of sandbanks visible. If you're planning on swimming head here around high tide. If you're just coming for a coffee, then head to minnamurra General stores and coffee shop. Either way, you're going to have a good time.

There's not much that beats the coastal walk from Kiama going south. It's a leisurely 45 minute walk past a couple of world class beaches to Cin Cin W**e Bar | Restaurant & Bar | Functions & Events for a nice bit of dinner. The lamb special is off the scale. Best food and hospitality in town! Perfect for a laid back Sunday.

Friday is Kick-off Back Friday at Crooked River Estate. Winter fire pits, live music and the best pizza for miles make this place a great start to the weekend.

EAT. STAY. READ. LOVE is an about an hour from Kiama and is well worth the effort. Big open fire in the dining room and an excellent menu makes for the perfect lunch venue all year round. Finish up with a trip to the cellar door for a cheeky bottle of their own pinot gris. Good times.

The Sutton Forest Inn is about an hour away but an exceptional pub. Seems like there's a fire in every room, so toasty in the Winter. As a bonus, the drive from Kiama is stunning.
