Concrete stumps I have been pulling out today, house has sunk up to 50 ml all around the walls which made humps in the floors, this was coursed by poorly fitted stumps, as seen in the photo there is no concrete underneath the stump, only around it, that concrete was basically doing nothing

Sheering shed just finished, this was on a good lean and came up 3-400 ml in places, or more,the old wooden stumps were on a big lean from trucks backing into the loading ramp and most of the bearers and some joists and wall plates had to be replaced as it had a lot of termite damage, fitting a termite protection treated barrier between the ant caps and stump for extra precaution

I haven’t posted for a long time but thought I would share this little job we did over the Christmas break, got the stumps specially made by Traralgon Concrete Products and had a hand from one of my workers Kurt and got it done

It’s been a while since I have posted anything so here’s one I have just finished, pulled the chimney down and lifted the house about 10 inches, most of the stumps underneath were only about 5 inch in the ground so had to do a lot of digging deeper and being Heyfield hard ground the jack hammer was handy, finished the job off with nice new base boards all round
