With the school holidays wrapping up last Sunday, there may be a few mums and dads around the Hills quietly looking forward to a slower moment. 😉

The Mahogany Inn & Distillery is one of those great local spots to enjoy a meal, a drink and a little breathing space before the school routine kicks back in.

So if the kids have kept you busy for the last couple of weeks, maybe next weekend is your turn.

Our Royal Show giveaway winner, Kim Morgan, has sent through a bunch of photos from the day, and by the look of them, the family had an absolute ball.

Kim said they had an awesome day, which is exactly what we hoped for when we put the giveaway together.

On 6 October, Nearer to Nature is hosting its Pollinator Picnic, a free family event celebrating the native bees, birds, butterflies and other pollinators that help keep our environment thriving.

There will be hands-on activities, nature crafts, insect hotels, wildlife water stations, the Fairy Folk & Forest Friends Trail and plenty of opportunity for the kids to explore and enjoy the outdoors.

Congratulations to Kim Morgan, our randomly selected winner of the Brent Falkingham Team Perth Royal Show Family Pass.

We are trying to get in touch with Kim now to confirm the prize. 🎡

To keep the draw nice and clean, we first removed any obvious friends, family and people a little too close to the organising team. No awkward Sunday lunch conversations required. 😄

We then checked the remaining eligible entries, gave each person one entry, numbered the list and used a random draw to select the winner.

Feeling very grateful to receive the recognition in the Seven Million Dollar Club for 2025–26.

That is a list and sell of 7 properties for a combined $7,431,000.

The number is nice, but for me the real reward is the trust people place in us to help with what is often a very important move in their lives.
