⚠️ “Tenant-Safe” doesn’t always mean damage-free ⚠️
We’re seeing more products advertised as tenant-safe, damage-free, or removable but it’s important to understand that these labels don’t always guarantee your walls will remain unaffected.
While many adhesive products are designed to reduce damage, removal can still result in paint peeling, marks, surface damage, or patching requirements depending on the wall condition and product used.
Factors such as existing paint quality, previous repairs, how long the item has been installed, humidity, and the removal process can all affect the outcome.
Before installing hooks, shelving, wall décor, LED strips, adhesive organisers or similar products, make sure you understand that “tenant-safe” does not necessarily mean the wall will return to its original condition after removal.
A product being marketed as removable doesn’t automatically mean repairs won’t be required afterwards.
