Ready for an adventure in the heart of the forest? The Timberline Loop weaves together historic logging roads and the Sidings Rail Trail, offering a scenic escape for walkers and riders alike.

Whether you’re up for a half-day mountain bike ride or a relaxing 2-day hike, this loop has it all: gentle gravel paths along the Munda Biddi Trail, glimpses of historic railway remnants, old telegraph poles, and towering forest scenery.

Take a well-earned break at Barrabup Pool or Workman’s Pool, perfect spots to cool off and soak in the tranquillity after a day on the trail.

Fun fact: the Timberline Trail follows the path once used by steam-powered locomotives, which carried timber from the forest to the Barrabup Mill and later the Nannup Mill.

These were the monarch butterflies in late May. And they could still be seen on sunny days through winter. Now that spring has sprung let's see if they stick around! 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋

So much goes on in Nannup. The Nannup Music Festival is on again this weekend and as usual, the studio was already booked from last year's festival.
