“Take your foot off the accelerator.”

A little piece of wisdom from Deb Rae at this morning’s Chamber B2B Brews that I probably needed to hear 😅

When we get bogged, our instinct is often to put our foot down and go faster.

Work harder. Push through. Open another tab. Add another thing to the list.

Sometimes the answer is actually the opposite.

Take your foot off the accelerator.
Close down the 27 tabs.
Have a coffee.
Reset.
Then work out what actually needs your attention.

And what better place for that conversation than Primal Coffee Roasting Facility.

I also learnt something today that really hit home.

Ronald McDonald House Charities has provided more than 2,700 nights of accommodation to Mackay families last year alone, while they were away from home with a sick or injured child.

That’s an extraordinary impact on families in our own community.

Sunday breakfast for Mum and I - and proof that HelloFresh leftovers don’t have to look like leftovers. 😂

A lone chorizo, tortilla and baby spinach left from this week’s meals, our garden-grown cherry tomatoes, a hint of chilli, egg, avo and fresh coriander.

Made it up as I went along… and this one is DEFINITELY a keeper.

Sorry Liv & Calvi… you two seriously missed out today 🫣
