This weeks topic.

Should I give up everything for the Great Australia Dream to own a home?

I see alot of women aching to buy a house or property to live in.

You are prepared to eat toast or 2 minute noodles for a year or so, saving every penny, going without - to save that deposit. But it's not just a year or two - the mortgage repayments may be keeping you on the toast diet as well. Not to mention stamp duty, strata, property maintenance, energy & water bills etc.

I'm a big believer of quality of life. I also want my cake and I want to eat it - even if it's a small slice and only once a week.

I want to invest in property. I know I cannot afford to buy and live in a property, but together with other women, I can buy multiple properties - sharing the cost of the deposit, mortgage, maintenance. We can buy one property a year and do this for 5 years. Then hold for another 5 years - enjoying the rental income and knowing I own property.

I can even buy a property with others and I can be the tenant of one of those properties - paying rent back into my own pocket!

There's a better, easier and safer way of investing in property. Want to know more - PM me - I genuinely want to help xx

Properties owned exclusively by women, which included homes with multiple owners who were all women, such as sisters, friends group or a same-sex couple. This accounted for 26.2 per cent of homes, while properties owned exclusively by men made up 29.9 per cent.

Women are strong, but also acknowledge that things are tough sometimes. We know that it takes a village to raise a child (and those who don't have a village, are the strongest of all!), we know asking for help doesn't make us weak and we know that together, we can do a hell of a lot more than on our own!

Let's create Property Circles and build our property portfolio...together xx

Less than a quarter (24.1 per cent) of properties in Australia were owned by a sole female, compared to 27.7 per cent owned by a sole male.

We need to change this figure!
