Before and after a chemical dosing manifold we rebuilt on a Perth site.
The "before" isn't unusual. Valves and lines added over the years, one job at a time, until nobody's quite sure what feeds what. It works until it doesn't, and then you're tracing pipework under pressure trying to find the right isolation.
The "after" is the same function, re-engineered: one framed manifold, every line labelled, every valve accessible, isolation obvious. Nothing exotic just built to a standard instead of by habit.
That's most of reliability, honestly. Not clever technology. Order, access and labelling, so the next person can work on it fast and safely including at 2am when something's wrong.
Tidy isn't cosmetic. Tidy is faster fault-finding, safer isolation, and less downtime.
