Nest #26 and it’s only the beginning!
2026 is already shaping up to be a huge year for our turtles and our volunteers.
Our beaches are buzzing and turtle season is in full swing!

When the tide goes out in Coolum, the magical rockpools appear! 🐠

Our rockpools are nature’s playground, perfect for spotting marine life, letting little ones explore, and soaking up that glorious Sunshine Coast sunshine!

You’ll find them scattered around Coolum’s coastline… from the main beach, through the three beautiful bays, and at Yaroomba tucked beneath Point Arkwright. 🌊

There's so much to discover in Coolum Beach.
