As weather heats up and Summer creeps closer, requests for our concrete resurfacing start to flood in. Summer is still months away, but we’d just like to send out a friendly reminder to everyone that booking in before the peak is highly recommended to lock in suitable dates. As we enter into our busiest 6 months of the year, and if we use our past as a guide, we expect our diary to fill up extremely fast.
A FRESH NEW LOOK THAT LASTS..
For the best finish, we use the best Aussie products available. Shieldcoat Step Safe HD is an extremely durable, water-based resin system designed to create an attractive textured and non-slip finish over existing concrete. Unlike the traditional cement-based resurfacing, our resin coatings provide much greater flexibility, stronger adhesion and excellent resistance to weathering, cracking and fading. We provide a 7 year warranty on our resurfacing and once cured, is expected to stand strong for decades.

Resin-based resurfacing offers a stronger, more flexible and longer-lasting finish than traditional cement-based resurfacing systems.
Unlike cement coatings, which can become brittle and are more susceptible to cracking, chipping and deterioration, quality resin-based coatings provide superior adhesion while allowing greater flexibility with the concrete beneath.
They also offer excellent resistance to water, staining, weathering and everyday wear, while maintaining their colour and appearance for longer.

The driveway was resurfaced in ‘Jasper’ w~ a custom ‘Dune’ & ‘Arctic White’ fleck throughout and the outdated entrance area was coated in ‘Dune’ w~ ‘Jasper’ & ‘Ebony’ fleck throughout..

Resin-based resurfacing systems offer a major advantage over other common cement-only finishes because they remain flexible and elastomeric. This will allow the coating to move with natural concrete slab expansion, contraction, and minor foundation movement.
