This year taught me a lot about business, but more about people.

I learned that good work isn’t just about finish and detail. It’s about trust. Turning up when you say you will. Caring even when no one’s watching.

There were wins this year, and there were lessons. Moments where things flowed, and moments that tested patience, confidence, and resilience. All of it shaped how I work and why I do it.

I’m less interested now in chasing volume. More interested in doing work I’m proud to put my name on. I’m more selective with the projects and the clients I take on, because the best results come when expectations, values, and communication are aligned.

This business has grown, but so have I. Clearer standards. Better boundaries. Deeper respect for the craft, and for the people who invite me into their homes.

Heading into the new year grounded, grateful, and committed to doing things the right way. Honest work. Real relationships. No shortcuts.

This property just had a full internal repaint: walls, ceilings, major plaster repairs (yes, basketball-sized holes), plus wallpaper removal, all completed in 5 days to get it market-ready. Bright, fresh and ready for new carpet, photos, open homes and a new owner.

So grateful to be able to put the final touches on some reno’s for some unreal clients. Even knocked out the full exterior while we were at it.
These guys had their vision and trusted me to pull it all together.
I love being part of projects that are the last piece of the puzzle in turning a house into a home - one filled with love, heart and good energy.

Pushing My Limits For A Cause That Hits Home

This September, I’m taking on a Last Man Standing ultra marathon. A brutal race where you run 6.7km every hour on the hour… until you can’t.

I’m setting my sights on the 18-hour / 120km mark and I’m doing it to raise money for a cause that means a hell of a lot to me.

I’m running to support the NICU at the Royal Women’s Hospital, a place that took incredible care of my nephew when he was born. He spent 6 weeks in their hands, and they supported my sister-in-law and her family through a time that no parent ever plans for.

💥 Donate $50 or more and go in the draw to win:

This is the main prize and the heart of the fundraiser.

What a difference 🤯

This one was a full-on refresh and we’re stoked with how it turned out.

• We stripped off all the old wallpaper
• Sanded the beams all the way back to bare timber and clear coated them
• Treated all the old water stains in the ceiling so nothing peeks through
• Full repaint across every ceiling, wall, and bit of woodwork — fresh, clean, and bright

This space went from dark and dated to warm and welcoming — just shows what proper prep and quality paint can do.
