Council lost their own records. The neighbour wanted $150,000. But the solution was much simpler than we thought.

Council had lost their own stormwater easement records and they pushed to withdraw the DA. Our only option seemed to be getting neighbour consent. Their answer? $150,000 or don’t bother.

That would have meant lawyers, court proceedings, and a project going nowhere.

Instead of sticking our head in the sand, we decided to do an easement pipe investigation.
