last week i made the biggest move to date - yes, even more intense/emotional than my move to the US. unlike many NY’ers, i was lucky to remain at the same address for the past FIVE years… a truly lived-in home (& successful production space ) shared with MANY friends, visiting family & a wide variety of creatives. to all those who slept/stayed, drank/ate, shot/filmed or just passed through… wasn’t it awesome?! 😍 49 Eagle was not only my first ‘adult’ home but also mirrored as a popular photo/film location. we named her Lalita after the playful Hindu goddess (or “milly’s lounge” as liked to call it) as thanks to ‘s beautiful brain, each room’s interiors sure did shout “come play” 😏 but as NY being NY continues to demolish, develop (the reason we love & hate it) naturally, Lalita’s time had come to an end…. the block had been bought 😰 my initial reaction (what the f***) was short lived because… aren’t we all meat to be shedding our snake skins? as much as i loved hosting & hated the idea of moving, i realised this change was GOOD. it was time to live on my own (have less rooms to clean - those who know me will understand), let go of the “location-rental-side-hustle” so i could in turn, apply 110% of myself to growing my real estate business … talk about looking at a glass half full 🥹 next came - the missing piece to my overwhelmingly stressful puzzle. their personable approach & consistent flow of communication put all my remaining worries at ease. they took the time to prep me for move day but yet in no way did i ever expect to be met by such a kind, caring, incredibly fast & hard-working team led by Diego, my foreman i.e. my therapist for the day. they quickly & carefully transported the past 5.5 years of my life in 11hrs… i am so appreciative to everyone at for making this move as simple & smooth as humanly possible... you made saying goodbye to 49 Eagle that much easier, thank you. ❤️
