Lachlan Coote was born in Windsor in Greater Western Sydney and played his junior football with the Windsor Wolves. Lachlan signed with the Penrith Panthers as a teenager and went on to play in the Premiership winning Panthers team in the Harold Matthews Cup in 2006.

2007 - A breakout year for Lachlan. Ball Cup team that lost the Grand Final to the Parramatta Eels. Lachlan was named player of the

tournament and was named to play in the NSW under 17's side. The end of the year saw him tour New Zealand as a member of the undefeated Australian Schoolboys Team.

2008 - Coote again played for the Panthers in the inaugural season of the National Youth Competition (NYC). Amassing 138 points in only 12 games saw Coote earn a selection in the victorious NSW under 18's squad. As the 2008 season came to a close, Lachlan was named in the NYC team of the year. It was in round 16 in 2008 that Lachlan made his debut for The Penrith Panthers in the NRL. Coote finished his first NRL game as man of the match when the Panthers defeated the Brisbane Broncos. This performance saw Lachlan retain a position in the first grade squad for the remainder of the season where he went on to win the Penrith Panthers , Ben Alexander Rookie of the year award.

2009 - Coote moved to the Panther first choice fullback. But picked up a shoulder ending injury in Round 14 of that year.

At the end of the 2013 season Coote made the decision to leave the Panthers with a move to the North Queensland Cowboys. Cootes selection for Scotland in the 2013 Rugby League World Cup was only short lived as he withdrew to focus on a solid pre season for his new club the North Queensland Cowboys.

2014 - Coote was selected in the Cowboys team for the Auckland 9's. This selection however was the end of Cootes 2014 season as he tore his ACL in the first game.

2015 - Cootes return to the top grade was in Round 3 after spending the first 2 Rounds playing for the Northern Pride in the Queensland Cup. Involved in a club record 11 game winning streak, Lachlan had cemented his position as the clubs number 1 fullback. Coote finished the season on the ultimate high after the North Queensland Cowboys went on to win their maiden title in the NRL.

2016 - Lachlan played for the Cowboys in the Auckland 9's and in the Cowboys World Club Challenge winning squad. Resigning with the Cowboys until the end of 2018 Coote went on to play in every game of the 2016 season. Selection in the NSW City team was hampered by a rib injury forcing Coote to withdraw. Later that year selection in the Scottish side for the Four Nations saw Coote awarded man of the match in an upset 18-18 draw against the new Zealand side.

2017 - Coote started the 2007 season with an injury in round 2 that will see him sidelined for up to 6 weeks.

Sellers sometimes ask questions that are really a conversation for their broker.

Questions about interest rates. Refinancing. What the bank will actually lend them.

I hear you. I see you. I respect the question.

But that one's above my pay grade.

I'm the talent.

Townsville real estate. Everyone plays their position.

I've been thinking about what preparation actually means when the stakes are real.

In football, you prepared because the game was coming whether you were ready or not.

In real estate, the same thing applies. The Townsville property market doesn't wait for you to feel ready. Buyers don't pause. Sellers who aren't prepared don't get a second chance at a first impression.

The discipline I learned in professional sport is the same discipline I bring to every property strategy conversation.

Prepare properly. Execute calmly. Protect the outcome.

If you're thinking about selling a home in Townsville this year, now is the time to start the conversation. Not when you feel ready. Now.

Let's talk.

When you donate to this challenge, your money doesn't just go one place.

Yes, it funds research and clinical trials for children's brain cancer through The Cure Starts Now Australia.

But a percentage also goes to the Terry Campese Foundation, supporting at-risk youth, and Fuel for Schools, which provides breakfast programs and school supplies for kids who need it.

One donation. Three causes. All focused on the health and future of children.

I'm proud to be part of something with this much reach.

Buyer demand in Townsville has steadied.

Especially for properties over $700,000.

More stock is coming to market. Days on market are increasing. Buyers have more options than they did six months ago, and they know it.

That shift changes the conversation around preparation and pricing.

When buyers have choices, the properties that stand out get the attention. The ones that don't, sit.

Presentation matters more now, not less. Photography matters. The way your property is priced relative to everything else on the market matters.

This isn't a reason to panic. It's a reason to prepare properly and price with strategy.

If you're thinking about selling a home in Townsville, now is the time to get that conversation right.

Let's talk.

In football, you train for months for a single game.

You do the hard work in private so you can perform when it matters.

This challenge is no different. Five months of preparation for 30 hours of everything I've got, physically and mentally.

But this time, the performance isn't for a scoreboard. It's for kids with brain cancer and the families fighting alongside them.

I know how to push through discomfort. I know how to prepare. And I know that the work you put in before the moment is what defines the outcome.

I'm putting that to work for something that actually matters.

Can't sit still on a phone call. Never could.

Started in the kitchen. Ended up at the end of the street. Don't ask about the time I took a call at the park.

Turns out buying and selling property works the same way. You can't stay in one place and expect results.

You move. You adapt. You keep the conversation going.

Townsville real estate is all about momentum. And apparently, so am I.

Let's talk.
