🚨 RBA RATE HIKE – WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU

The Reserve Bank has increased interest rates by 0.25%.

While this may sound like a negative headline, the reality on the ground is a bit more nuanced 👇



👉 Buyers:
Yes, borrowing capacity tightens slightly — but serious buyers are still very much active. In fact, we’re still seeing strong competition for quality homes.

👉 Sellers:
This doesn’t mean the market stops. In Adelaide, low stock levels are continuing to support prices, and well-presented homes are still attracting multiple buyers.

👉 The Reality:
Rate hikes tend to filter out “maybe” buyers… leaving behind more committed, ready-to-act purchasers.



My take:
The market is adjusting, not declining.
If anything, this creates a more balanced environment — which can be a great time to make a move with the right strategy.
