A New Home, a Warm Welcome and a Special Milestone

There’s something special about stepping into a new home and we’re delighted to welcome the very first participant to their new Specialist Disability Accommodation with Metcalf Inclusive Living in Tanunda.

This moment is about more than a milestone for our team. It’s the beginning of a new chapter for the person making this house their home, a place to settle in, make their own and feel connected to their community.

Bringing this new chapter to life has been a collaborative effort involving the participant and their support teams, My Ability Pathway, MG Management SA and our team at Metcalf Inclusive Living.

To help make their arrival feel special, we prepared a welcome treat presented in a beautiful wooden box, handcrafted by the talented team in the Barossa Enterprises Woodworking Program. It’s a little piece of the Barossa to welcome them home and a lovely connection to their new community.

We loved meeting the team and supported employees behind these thoughtfully crafted boxes. Their work will now become part of our welcome for every new Metcalf Inclusive Living resident.

For now, we’re celebrating this first welcome home and wishing the newest resident every happiness as they settle in.

MG Management SA is pleased to be expanding its Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) portfolio, with an additional three SDA dwellings in Tanunda expected to be added by mid-July.

This growth forms part of a broader expansion strategy across both metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia, with a number of new SDA developments underway in key locations. As the portfolio continues to grow, MG Management SA remains committed to delivering high-quality, purpose-built homes that support participant choice, independence, and long-term housing outcomes.
