🌿 Pond Decommission & Garden Refresh

This old pond had become difficult to maintain and was no longer being used, so the decision was made to decommission it and create a safer, low-maintenance area.

The existing aquatic plant and pond liner were removed before the area was filled with drainage gravel, creating a clean finish that blends in with the surrounding garden.

The end result is a safer space for pets and children, with far less ongoing maintenance while still complementing the existing landscaping.

Recently worked alongside Ray on repairs to these weathered timber stairs and landing.

The work included replacing deteriorated timber around the upper and lower landing areas, renewing the top timber capping board along the retaining wall, fitting replacement decking and step components, and finishing the repaired areas to match the existing surrounds.

Plenty of careful measuring, preparation and fitting went into bringing everything back to a neat and functional finish.

A great team effort, and we were both really happy with the final result. πŸ‘πŸ»

This timber gate had dropped out of alignment and was no longer latching correctly.

The gate was realigned, adjusted and re-secured to the masonry wall using new masonry anchors to restore proper operation and improve stability.

A simple repair that saved the client from a more costly replacement and has the gate opening, closing and latching as it should again.

A small personal upgrade for the work truck this week πŸ”§

Finally fitted the new wheel and tyre setup after a long time researching parts, restoring the rims and slowly piecing everything together.

Considering this little kei truck works hard nearly every day for the business, it’s nice to finally do something for myself and tidy it up properly.

Really happy with how it turned out πŸ‘πŸ»
