But something clicked when he decided to enter the world of real estate. Undeterred by being rejected by 13 different agencies—and even offering to work for free—he finally landed a trial at his 14th attempt. He fell in love with the business and has never looked back. After earning his real estate license and honing his skills at leading firms like National Industrial and CBRE, Steve launched Statewide Industrial Property (SIP) in 2007. The company was an instant success, expanding to seven employees in just three years and winning the prestigious "Best New Business" award in Fairfield in 2012. The company's momentum only grew stronger when Steve’s wife, Lilly, joined the team in 2018. She brings her expertise in property management and accounts, allowing Steve to focus on what he does best: sales, leasing, and human resources.
