The little gate at the back of the house telling guest through here you’ll find the farm entry, then on to the chicken coop (to collect your eggs), the orchard, or maybe a creek walk and further to the old well.

We’re working on a property map to show these places plus the wedge tail eagles nest and where to find the most beautiful view if you hike up the hill here.

Harvesting chamomile with the three little pixies 💛 We have tried to grow chamomile before with little luck. Now though thanks to the beautiful 🌹 we have a thriving supply of chamomile within the medicinal garden Keitha lovingly created here.
Working with this delicate, gentle and nurturing plant is such a pleasure and the smell filling the room as it dries really is something else ✨💛

Goats, it’s true they’ll eat almost anything… Today’s snack is clippings from our emerging carob hedge which surrounds the front of the orchard. One day, when grown to a hedge, will hug the fruit trees keeping them snug from the elements.
But, the goats, our favourites here on our little farm and our guests at our bnb always say how much they enjoy them. The goats tell us much the same 😉✨💛

Our little nesting coop next to the orchard, seperate to the main coop for Mumma’s comfort.
Our sweet little Mumma chicken ‘Christmas’ hatched 3 delightful silkies over the weekend, which our guests discovered whilst we were away.
They’re very sweet and will be just as adorable when they’re fully grown as they are now! 🐣💛

Our 3 year old beekeeper showing us some beautiful comb in the roof of our hive.
Having a flowhive we don’t get to play with as much comb, but it’s so fascinating.
Today we removed it from the roof to hopefully direct our little bees to the frames instead, cheeky bees 🐝💛
