হঠাৎ দেখি ঘুমের ঘরে
মা যেন এসেছে ফিরে
দুহাত বাড়িয়ে ডাকছে আমায়।
আয় খোকা বলে
কি করে বোঝাই মনটারে
মা যে নেই পৃথিবীতে
তুই যে বড়ই একা।।

এখন কেউ শুনায় না আমায়
ঘুম পাড়ানির গান
দেযনা কেউ মাথায় হাত বুলিয়ে
বলেনা তো কেউ এখন ঘুমা খোকা।।

কোথাও গেলে মাকে না বলে
থাকতো মা দাড়িয়ে দরজা খুলে,
আসলে পরে বলতো মা
কোথায় গিয়েছিলি খোকা
এখন আর কেউ বলে না খোকা।।
