Colonnade Design and Development is a real estate company in Bangladesh established in 2012 by Mirza Md Naimul Islam, Chairman and Managing Director of the company. CDDL started its venture during a highly competitive era for the real estate industry of Bangladesh. Real estate companies were in abundance and almost every good land in town were already under development. During this time, CDDL endu
red its biggest challenge, which was to gain trust from the people as an honest corporation in an industry which became renowned for the lack of commitment. However, this did not stop Mirza Naimul, the Chairman and Managing Director of CDDL, from being patient and he was determined not to make any commitments that he would not be able to keep. Mirza Md Naimul took a conservative approach and started its journey with only one Project, a ten storied building of thirty-six apartments in Sankar, CDDL-Dominus. Construction of a G+9 storied building meant lots of overtime and hard work for all staff of the newly formed company. However, eventually the conservative approach proved to be the best strategy as many developers failed to keep their promises and CDDL successfully developed the ten storied project into reality in a span of three years. CDDL soon earned its reputation of keeping commitments and a goodwill from the people with same interest. Since then CDDL has started four more projects, one at Sankar(CDDL Shefali Ratan Villa), two at Adabor (CDDL Gawsia Palace & CDDL Habib Humaira Palace) and one at Shantinagar(CDDL Tayeb Maher Mohol).
