নদীমাতৃক 🇧🇩 এ লক্ষ/কোটি নদীর ধারের বাসিন্দাদের মত আমিও ছোটবেলা থেকেই ভোরবেলা ঘুম থেকে উঠে গোমতী নদীতে মাছ ধরার এই দৃশ্য দেখতে পেতাম এবং নদীতে তখন বিশাল সাইজ এবং প্রজাতির প্রচুর মাছ পাওয়া যেত। কালের পরিক্রমায় পরিবেশ দূষণ ও জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন এর ফলে সেগুলো এখন সোনালী অতীত। তবে মাঝে মাঝে এখনো জেলেরা বের হয় মাছের সন্ধানে।
