🌼🍄 Weet jij waar je het Smurfendorp kan vinden?
Voor één keer waren de Smurfen geen drie appels hoog en stonden de paddenstoelenhuisjes niet verborgen in een bos. Afgelopen zaterdag waren ze gewoon te bewonderen in het hart van Brussel. Gelukkig geen enkel spoor van Gargamel.
Elke rode loper die ooit werd uitgerold verbleekt naast de indrukwekkende blauwe loper die de monumentale trappen van de Kunstberg sierde. De aankleding van de blauwe loper met echt gras, bloemen en planten vormde de meest feeërieke entree naar het Smurfendorp. Het uitzicht vanaf de trappen, richting de tuin van de Kunstberg, met de majestueuze stadhuistoren van de Grote Markt op de achtergrond, gaf deze wereldpremière een decor dat de Smurfen met de grootst mogelijke eer verwelkomde.
Het Cecoforma-team heeft een indrukwekkende prestatie gesmurft door het evenement van de wereldpremière tot in de kleinste puntjes te realiseren op een A-locatie in de geboortestad van de Smurfen.
Ik ben dan ook bijzonder trots dat ik een heel klein stukje mocht bijdragen aan dit magische project, door de locatie in 3D tot leven te brengen. Dank je wel, Cecoforma, voor de geweldige kans en de superfijne samenwerking. Jullie zijn een topteam! 💙

🌼🍄 Do you know where to find the Smurf Village?
For once, the Smurfs weren’t three apples tall, and their mushroom houses weren’t hidden deep in a forest. Last Saturday, they could simply be admired in the heart of Brussels. Fortunately, not a single trace of Gargamel was spotted.
Every red carpet ever rolled out pales in comparison to the impressive blue carpet that adorned the monumental steps of Mont des Arts. Decorated with real grass, flowers, and plants, the blue carpet created the most enchanting entrance to the Smurf Village. The view from the steps, looking out over the Mont des Arts garden with the majestic town hall tower of the Grand Place in the background, gave this world premiere a setting worthy of welcoming the Smurfs with the highest honour.
The Cecoforma team truly “Smurfed” an impressive achievement by flawlessly executing the entire world premiere event down to the tiniest details, on a prime location in the Smurfs’ birthplace.
I’m incredibly proud to have been able to contribute a tiny part to this magical project by bringing the location to life in 3D. Thank you, Cecoforma, for the amazing opportunity and the wonderful collaboration. You are a top team! 💙
