They suffered damage due to Hurricane Melissa and are in the process of fixing the minor things after tackling the major ones.

🏠 Do you need carbon monoxide (CO) alarms?

If your home has any of the following:
• A fuel-burning appliance (furnace, water heater, stove, etc.)
• A fireplace
• An attached garage

👉 The Ontario Fire Code requires CO alarms to be installed:
✔ Near all bedrooms
✔ On every storey of your home (even floors without bedrooms)

CO is invisible and dangerous. Alarms save lives.

What: Rainfall amounts of 10 to 20 mm.

When: Tuesday night and Wednesday.

Additional information: Rain with isolated thunderstorms will impact southern Ontario on Wednesday. This rainfall, combined with melting snow and the limited ability of the frozen ground to absorb the rain may lead to localized flooding in low lying areas and water pooling on roads.

For information concerning flooding, please consult your local Conservation Authority or Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry office. Visit Ontario.ca/floods for the latest details.
