I'm not saying that it's easy or won't take some strategizing and sacrificing.

But the idea that it's "impossible to ever own a house these days" ... it's just not true.
I don't believe it because I literally help Millenials and even Gen Z's every single day become first time home buyers. Just regular, normal, people who worked hard and didn't give up.
