Asphalt Shingles are the most commonly installed roof surface in our region, but like anything they have a lifespan, these ones may be at their end and will definitely require repairs. This was a tricky roof to access safely but was worth it for my clients.

Got rodent problems? It is not uncommon to find evidence of rodents during an inspection, once this is found it’s important to find how they are entering the home to prevent potential damage to the home or health concerns. It is good to peak in your attic once in a while to check for tunnels insulation or pest droppings similar to this video and seal any access points or fall a qualified pest control contractor.

Elevation Home Inspections now driving around town a little quieter in this EV, thanks for the great service and for the great company graphics and decals as always. It will be nice to not have to stop at the gas pumps on the way to inspections anymore with this zero emissions EV ⚡️

Always a treat when a client hires me to inspect a high end custom built home. These homes are typically built beyond the standards of most homes and the mechanical systems are advanced and more complex than what you would see in a traditional spec home, which for a home inspection takes more time to inspect and you need to be educated in the operation and installation practices of these systems. These types of homes typically require more maintenance than a traditional home to keep everything operating seamlessly and efficiently. The automation in many of these homes is amazing allowing home owners to customize these systems to their preferences.

Happy Friday! Hope Everyone is enjoying the Spring Break! Why is this attic painted white? Well, this attic has been sprayed with white mold encapsulating sealant which helps kill and cover any possible bacteria growth. This is a 13 year old townhome, I’m glad to see that this active Strata is on top of fixing issues before they become a serious health issue. 🦠

It has been a very busy week, The market appears to be picking back up and buyers are getting more time to do their due diligence and get a home inspection prior to their subject removal, this is a nice change compared to the last 2 years of buyers going in on condition free deals not knowing what they are buying.
