What makes a northern sunset feel so unforgettable? 🌅
Maybe it’s the way the light hangs over the lakes and boreal forest just a little longer. Maybe it’s the endless horizon, the reflections across calm water, or the dramatic colours that seem to stretch on forever.
Up here, sunsets don’t rush. Spring and summer evenings unfold slowly in layers of gold, orange, pink, and deep blue — with sunsets this time of year often arriving between 9:15 and 9:45 PM. By June, the glow can linger well into the night, giving northern summers that almost endless feeling.
And beyond the communities, with less light pollution and wide-open skies, the North puts on a show that feels bigger, brighter, and a little more wild.
It’s something you have to experience for yourself.
