God formed man from dust.

Not gold.
Not royalty.
Dust.

And He did not create us merely to exist.
He created us to walk with Him.
To know Him.
To live in relationship.

But man wanted more than relationship.
He wanted control.

He chose to be his own god.
And in doing so, evil entered the world.
Sin fractured the relationship between the Creator and the created.

The dust turned away from the One who breathed life into it.

So what does God do?

He does not abandon His creation.
He does not crush it.
He does not demand humans climb their way back to Him.

He comes down.

The Creator steps into creation.
The eternal enters time.
The God who formed woman from dust chooses to enter the womb of a woman made from dust.

Not as a king in a palace.
Not as a ruler with armies.
But as a child.

Born in a manger.
A place that smelled of animals.
A feeding trough.
A cave used by shepherds.

No home.
No status.
No comfort.

Yet He owned it all.

This is the heart of Christmas.

God choosing humility to redeem pride.
God choosing nearness to heal distance.
God choosing weakness to defeat sin.

Today, this is your hope.

Not another achievement.

I Lost Money in Real Estate in the GTA… Here’s What I Learned..

I’m not here to pretend every deal I’ve done has been a win.

One of my properties cost me $640,000… today, it’s worth about $490,000.

That’s a $150,000 drop in value!!

And it doesn’t stop there, every month, it bleeds $600 in negative cash flow, which means I’m paying $7,200 a year out of my own pocket just to hold it!!!

I bought thinking, “It’s fine, the market will go up,” but instead, interest rates climbed, rents lagged, and my shortfall grew.

I’ve seen other investors in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area make the same mistake.. buying on speculation, not on the numbers.

Some bought pre-construction condos at the peak and watched values drop before they even got the keys.

Others are holding properties that cost them hundreds or thousands every month to keep.

The market sells you a dream that:
You can bank on appreciation forever
Negative cash flow is okay if the property value goes up
Your home equity will always be safe

Well, the last two years have proven… none of that is guaranteed.

You don’t just need a property, you need a property that pays you every month from day one.

The real number that matters is:
Passive Income > Living Expenses

Investor A:
$1.5M in properties bought at the peak, no passive income, covering $1,000+ in monthly shortfalls → stressed and stuck

Investor B:
$6K/month net rental income from well-bought duplexes in Hamilton and Brantford, $4K/month lifestyle → financially free, even in a down market

Freedom comes from monthly cash flow, not betting on market timing.

It has taught me to track my Freedom Number, not your speculative net worth.
